1. Scope of application, operator and consent
This "Member Service Policy" (hereinafter referred to as "this policy") governs your purchase, use, management or cancellation of paid memberships of Inkseeker (hereinafter referred to as "Inkseeker", "we" or "the service"). This service is operated by Inkseeker, the website is https://inkseeker.com.
Purchasing a membership, starting checkout, managing subscriptions or continuing to use membership benefits means that you have read, understood and agreed to this policy, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If this policy is inconsistent with mandatory provisions of applicable laws, such mandatory provisions shall prevail.
For membership, payment, cancellation, refund, or account questions, please contact [email protected].
2. Membership plan, price and benefits
The membership plan, billing cycle, price, currency, taxes, included benefits, whether to automatically renew, and any promotional conditions are subject to the content clearly displayed on this website and the Paddle checkout page before you check out. Currently, the website may provide 1-month, 6-month and 1-year plans; we may adjust the plans available for purchase based on service, pricing or supply conditions, but will not retroactively change your existing membership rights that have completed payment and are still valid, unless otherwise required by applicable laws.
Membership benefits include access to paid features and content listed on the checkout page or membership page. Functions, usage limits, usable content and membership status are subject to the current display on the website and system verification results; we do not guarantee that all functions, content, regional or language versions will be available at any time.
Membership only grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable and non-commercial right to use the Services and does not grant ownership or additional licenses to content, libraries, images, translations or other intellectual property.
3. Payment, taxes and Paddle
Payments, subscription creation, renewals, cancellations, billing, tax processing and partial refunds are provided by Paddle for transaction processing and customer portal support. When you complete a transaction or use the Paddle customer portal, you may also be bound by Paddle's Terms, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
The price, currency, tax amount, payment method, billing date and subscription settings shown on the checkout page are important information for your transaction. Paddle will process payment cards, bank accounts or other proof of payment in accordance with its processes; we do not store complete payment card information on this website. If payment is unauthorized, refused, reversed or chargeback occurs, we may suspend or revoke the corresponding membership rights to the extent reasonably necessary.
4. Membership period, renewal and price changes
Membership is valid within the purchased billing period from the effective time when payment is successful, the system is activated, or as otherwise shown on the checkout page. After the payment is successful, the membership status may take a short time to be synchronized; if the status is not updated, you can refresh the page, log in again, or contact us for assistance in checking.
If you choose or the checkout page shows automatic renewal, Paddle will charge you according to the period and amount shown on the checkout page until you cancel according to the process shown on the website or Paddle customer portal. Unless otherwise stated on the checkout page, applicable law, or Paddle's rules, cancellations generally take effect after the expiration of the current payment period, and you will still be able to use membership benefits until the end of that period.
If there are any major adjustments to renewal prices, plans or membership content in the future, we will provide the required notification or consent mechanisms in accordance with applicable laws and Paddle's transaction process. You can cancel your subscription before the next charge to avoid subsequent charges.
5. Cancellation, Refund and Legal Rights
You can cancel your subscription by following the process shown on the website account page or Paddle customer portal. Cancellation will not automatically result in a refund, credit, or prorated refund for periods of use or unuse, except as otherwise required by this Policy, Paddle’s applicable refund policy, or applicable law.
If there is a major technical failure in the service, there is a major discrepancy with the transaction description, or you have the right to withdraw, cooling-off period, cancellation or refund according to law, you can apply in accordance with [Paddle Refund Policy] (https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy) and applicable consumer protection laws. Refund applications should be submitted within the applicable period; once the refund is approved, the relevant membership benefits and paid content access rights may be terminated immediately or when the refund is effective.
This policy does not exclude or limit any consumer rights that may not be excluded or restricted by law. The eligibility, amount, method and processing time for refunds will be determined based on the transaction situation, Paddle's process and applicable laws.
6. Account, login and membership verification
Membership benefits are linked to the Inkseeker account you linked to when you completed your transaction. You should provide true, accurate and usable account and payment information, and keep your login credentials properly; you shall not sell, rent, transfer, lend, share or allow others to use your account or membership rights.
In order to maintain account security and login status, this website usually uses HttpOnly access tokens for up to 7 days, and HttpOnly refresh tokens for up to 180 days; language and account interface preferences are usually saved for up to 180 days. The refresh token can issue login credentials after the access token expires, and will be revoked when logging out, changing or resetting passwords, deleting accounts, expiration or security risks. The complete cookie and personal data processing rules are subject to Privacy Policy.
We may reasonably verify a member's identity, restrict abnormal use, require additional information, or suspend related benefits to prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, payment risks or violation of terms. Except for emergency security, anti-fraud or legal needs, we will provide instructions or support channels when reasonably feasible.
7. Fair use and content restrictions
You should use membership services in accordance with Terms of Service and applicable laws. In particular, you may not use your membership to circumvent access, download, usage, payment, or region restrictions, or to automatically extract large amounts of content or create databases.
You may not use the content, images, text, translations, metadata, databases, classifications or search results of this website to train, fine-tune or evaluate artificial intelligence or machine learning models, build LLM, vector databases or RAG data sets, or provide substantially identical or competitive services without the prior written permission of us or the relevant rights holders. Some of the works displayed may be in the public domain, but we reserve applicable rights for digital compilation, image processing, arrangement, metadata, translation, search structures and databases.
8. Suspension, Termination and Account Deletion
If we reasonably believe that you violate this policy, the Terms of Service, applicable laws, the rights of others or service security, or that there are fraud, chargebacks, abuse, technical, authorization or legal risks, we may limit member functions, suspend or terminate accounts and member rights, or cancel uncompleted transactions to the extent reasonably necessary. Such measures do not affect your payment obligations incurred before the measures take effect, nor do they affect refunds or consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
You can apply to delete your account according to your account settings. Account deletion may prevent you from continuing to use membership benefits, collections, search history, collection content or other account information. Account deletion will not automatically cancel your subscription on Paddle; if you still have an active subscription, please cancel it according to the process displayed on Paddle or this website to avoid future deductions.
9. Service changes, disclaimers and limitations of liability
We may change, suspend or terminate some membership functions or content within a reasonable scope due to technical, content licensing, security, maintenance, legal or operational needs. We will handle changes that have a significant adverse impact on paid members in accordance with applicable laws and specific circumstances.
Services and content are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that the Services will be continuous, uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, suitable for a particular purpose, or that all content will be permanently available; however, this clause does not limit liabilities or consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Applicable Law, Disputes and Policy Updates
The governing law of this policy and the handling of disputes are governed by Chapter 12 of [Terms of Service] (https://inkseeker.com/en/termsOfService), and do not exclude mandatory consumer protection or jurisdiction provided by the laws of your place of residence. The parties should first try to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiation.
We may update this policy due to legal, service, technology, pricing, payment or operational changes. The updated version will be published on this page and the "Last Update Date" will be updated; if the changes have a significant impact on your rights and interests, we will notify you via the website, account, email or other reasonable means to the extent required by applicable law. Continuing to use the membership service after the update becomes effective shall constitute your acceptance of the updated content to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If any part of this policy is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].
